PROJECT SCOPE
We were appointed to supply and install structural steelwork for remodelling the existing steel frame throughout a 5-storey residential structure.
Our scope of works included the design and installation of all necessary temporary works to facilitate the structural alterations, and the design of the permanent steel-steel connections.
FORCE SOLUTION
Multi-level back propping was installed throughout the property to support the loads applied to the existing steel frame and allow for the structural alterations to be completed.
The alterations were completed in a top-down sequence, allowing for the temporary propping to be released in stages, and the subsequent earlier handover of the upper-floors to the follow-on contractors.
